Xiaomi, the Chinese technology behemoth, made a grand unveiling of the new Redmi Watch 4 smartwatch at the Redmi K70 launch event in China. This newly minted smartwatch is expected to make waves in the smartwatch industry.

The Redmi Watch 4 boasts features such as an AMOLED panel with Always-On Display support, a 470 mAh battery, and it operates on Xiaomi’s very own HyperOS. This technologically advanced smartwatch is priced at approximately $78 and is available in Elegant Black and Silver Snow White colour choices for the discerning tech consumer in China.

In an effort to meet all style preferences, the Redmi Watch 4 provides a variety of strap options, including metallic, leather, or nylon, enabling users to mix and match according to their personal style. Presently, customers are able to place their orders for the smartwatch on Xiaomi's official website in China, and shipments are set to commence from December 5.

The Redmi Watch 4 Smartwatch comes with a 1.97-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 390×450 pixel resolution and a peak brightness that can reach up to 600 nits. The watch operates on the HyperOS platform and has a square dial and aluminium frame design. It also possesses an upgraded four-channel PPG sensor and grants the users access to over 150 sports modes, proving that the smartwatch is as smart as it looks.

The Redmi 4 Smartwatch is aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle with its advanced activity tracking features. It packs an array of sensors for monitoring stress levels, heart rate, oxygen levels, and sleep patterns. The integrated acceleration, gyro, geomagnetic, ambient light and optical heart rate sensors, and blood oxygen tracker are carefully designed to help users maintain an optimal health.

This revolutionary smartwatch also comes with a menstrual cycle tracker and is designed to be water-resistant. The Redmi Watch 4 is powered by a 470mAh battery that promises an extensive battery life of up to 20 days in typical usage conditions. Even with the Always-On Display feature enabled, it still manages to offer up to 10 days of usage on a single charge.

Alongside the smartwatch, Redmi also launched the Redmi Buds 5 Pro. These earbuds feature 10mm ceramic-coated tweeters and 11mm titanium-plated woofers, offering excellent sound quality with active noise cancellation up to 52dB. Priced attractively at approximately $62, the Redmi Buds 5 Pro offers a total battery life of about 38 hours including the charging case. Additionally, they come with Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
