The smartwatch that has recently hit the Indonesian market is the CMF Watch Pro, the first product from a sub-brand called Nothing under CMF, available for an approximate price of $80. Upon reviewing, this device could be considered a worthy companion to accompany your daily activities.
The minimalist design of the CMF Watch Pro is evident the moment you hold its unique packaging - a fresh departure from the typical boxed smartwatches in the market. The unboxing experience this packaging provides is quite unique. The dominant feature of the device is its square body with a metallic aluminum frame, lending it a robust and premium feel easy to handle and navigate due to a button on its right side.
Despite its fairly large dimensions of 261.2 x 39.9 x 12.9 mm, the device only weighs 47 grams, which promises day-long comfort. The strap is skin-friendly and fits comfortably on the wrist, and has the added advantage of being interchangeable to match your outfit.
The CMF Watch Pro offers water resistance up to I68, freeing you from worrying about damage while swimming in fresh water. At the back, you find heart rate and SpO2 sensors illuminated by green and red LED lights whenever used to measure heart rate and blood oxygen.
The smartwatch's AMOLED 1.96 inch screen with a resolution of 410 x 502 is framed by a thick but symmetric bezel which does not undermine its aesthetic appeal. With brightness up to 600 nits, this watch ensures good visibility even under the Sun, though it lacks an ambient light sensor, meaning users will have to adjust the brightness levels manually.
The touch screen response is satisfactory, improving navigation on the device. The smartwatch supports Always-on-Display though it was not utilized during our testing phase. Its internal speaker delivers clear and audible sound, particularly beneficial when answering calls. According to the manufacturers, the device has been designed to accurately identify noise types, thanks to being trained on more than 100,000 noise models. Although very noticeable indoors, this claim isn't fully met when outdoors amid traffic noise.
