The Chinese smartphone company is said to be working on new phones, with the Redmi Note 13 smartphone recently spotted on the EEC certification website. This new device is speculated to be the successor to the base variant of the Redmi Note 12 series.
The Redmi Note 12 5G, launched earlier this year, is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC and features an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. A report from TheTechOutlook suggests that a new Redmi smartphone, possibly the Redmi Note 13 5G, has been spotted on the EEC certification site. The device, bearing the model number 2312DRAABG, was also seen on the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) website a few days prior.
In addition to this, another Redmi smartphone with an unknown model number, 23090RA98G, has also been spotted on the EEC certifications site. However, the name of this device is yet to be revealed. The listing does not provide any details about the specifications and features of these purported smartphones, and the company has not yet disclosed any information about them.
The Redmi Note 12 series, which includes the Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G, and Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, was launched in India earlier this year. These phones feature AMOLED displays with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and run on MIUI 13 custom skin out-of-the-box.
