Chinese tech giant Oppo has made a grand statement with the introduction of their latest member of the A-series family, the A2 Pro. This new tech marvel comes with a curved 6.7-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display, presenting users with a visual treat in the form of vivid and smooth visuals, made possible by a high 120Hz refresh rate.

On the performance aspect, the A2 Pro is driven by the Dimensity 7050 chipset from MediaTek. This powerful chip promises quick and seamless performance, ensuring that the user experience is never compromised. The smartphone delivers top-notch performance that complements its stylish appearance perfectly.

The main highlight of the Oppo A2 Pro is its phenomenal battery life. The smartphone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that Oppo assures will retain its performance for a minimum of four years post the purchase date. Interestingly, should the battery's capacity reduce to less than 80% within this period, Oppo has committed to offering a free battery replacement to its customers.

In an internal testing conducted by Oppo, the battery displayed remarkable longevity, maintaining 88% of its original capacity even after 1,000 charging cycles. This essentially means that even if the phone is charged once daily, the battery can last for four years. That's not it - the A2 Pro also supports 67W wired charging to further enhance the charging experience.

The smartphone comes with an intelligent battery health engine and a unique power chip. Together, these systems keep an eye on the charging process to avoid overheating or overcharging. On the design front, the A2 Pro comes with an impressive up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. Although the rear of the phone features a sizeable camera island, it houses a 64MP primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture and a 2MP depth assistant.

The Oppo A2 Pro runs on ColorOS 13.1 layered on top of Android 13 which ensures a smooth and intuitive software experience. Amongst other notable features, the smartphone comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and holds an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance. On entering the market, three official color choices will be available for the A2 Pro – Vast Black, Desert Brown (vegan leather), and Twilight.

The price for the Oppo A2 Pro starts at CNY 1,799 ($248) for the 8GB/128GB model and rises to CNY 2,399 ($330) for the 12GB/512GB model. The phone will be up for grabs starting September 22 in China.
