Vivo's secondary brand iQoo has increased its offerings in China with the introduction of the iQoo Neo 9 series. This mid-range lineup includes the iQoo Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro models. These devices are available in colors such as Red and White Soul, Nautical Blue, and Fighting Black. Both phones boast different combinations of RAM and storage, along with supporting a high-refresh-rate of 144Hz and HDR10+.
This fresh series was unveiled at an event in China. This introduces two new additions, the standard iQoo Neo 9 and the superior iQoo Neo 9 Pro. In addition to these smartphones, they also released products including the iQoo TWS 1e earbuds and their first-ever smartwatch, termed the iQoo Watch. The iQoo Neo 9 series now succeeds the prior iQoo Neo 8 series, which launched in May.
Both new models house high-tier specs and are largely identical. The iQoo Neo 9 range comes in a variety of color choices - Red and White Soul featuring a dual-tone leather texture, Nautical Blue, and Fighting Black. The basic variant, housing 12GB RAM and 256GB storage space, is priced at approximately 335.92 USD.
There are also further variants –encompassing 16GB RAM plus 256GB storage, 16GB RAM plus 512GB storage, and finally, 16GB RAM plus 1TB storage– priced approximately at 364.35 USD, 408.76 USD, and 466.71 USD respectively. The iQoo Neo 9 Pro also offers multiple storage and RAM combinations.
The 12GB RAM plus 256GB storage and 12GB RAM plus 512GB storage versions are valued approximately at 437.18 USD, and 481.6 USD, respectively. Conversely, the 16GB RAM plus 512GB storage and 16GB RAM plus 1TB storage versions cost around 526.13 USD, and 583.07 USD respectively.
Key specs for both models incorporate a 6.780-inches OLED display supporting a 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+. These screens also have a fingerprint scanner for security, and the phones come equipped with the iQoo Q1 synched chip for better viewing and gaming. The aesthetic of these models includes a flat frame and a double rear camera setup. A Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor powers the iQoo Neo 9, while the Neo 9 Pro operates with a Dimensity 9300 chipset.
These smartphones house a 50MP OIS-enabled Sony IMX920 primary camera, an 8MP and 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens on the standard and Pro models, respectively, and a 16MP front-facing camera. Both devices boast a 5160mAh battery permitting 120W rapid charging.
